A magnificent quality burr walnut and brass inlaid writing slope. Very large with vacant brass cartouche in the top, triple fine brass string inlay, working Bramah lock with original key. The inside features a spring loaded concealed panel, which when triggered reveals three secret drawers. Brass key only available when the box is open to release the full length drawer in the side. Original black gilt tooled skiver with the inevitable split in the centre but otherwise in excellent condition,
