Size (approximate): 12.5" x 10.5" x 5.75" high (31.5 x 26.5 x 14 cms.) Description: A delightful rosewood sewing box (now empty) with brass stopped side handles, the lid framed with a complex line banding, the rectangular fruitwood panel framed with a dental banding & decorated with inlays of stylised leaves, flowers & fruit. In the centre is an oval of burr planewod. The box is now empty, and the interior and drawer are lined with attractive marbled paper. Both the box and its drawer are locked with same key.
