late victorian carved and gilded cushion mirror

Circa 1880, late Victorian carved and gilded cushion mirror. This very stylish mirror has a foliate carved edge and wonderful gilding beading throughout, and has 9 various sized bevel edge mirrors. The centre is oval with a simple bevel edge enclosed in beaded gilded bezel, outside are four quarter fan shaped bevelled mirrors and rising up at an angle are four further bevelled and mitered mirrors. Wonderful condition.

The business grew so rapidly, they couldn't keep up with their inventory needs. Their goal has been to create a one-stop-shop where designers can complete an entire project from antique lighting to antique furniture to accessories. Scotland's largest antiques warehouse is located in a converted whiskey bond in historic Leith Edinburgh. With 50,000sq ft over five floors we offer a wide range of quality Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian furniture, as well as continental and small decorative items. Our stock is constantly changing.
