Rare Tavern Clock or Act of Parliament clock,signed P.Lacy,Bristol,he was recorded working between 1779-1840.The dial measures 27 ins dia,trunk is 11.5 ins wide and overhaul length is 53 ins.The movement is correct to the case with original pendulum and weight,with a 5 wheel train and tapered plates that runs for 13.5 days,the hands are replacements and the lacquer restored.
