18th.c. style chinoiserie chest on chest

A stunning Chinoiserie chest on chest / tall boy. The black lacquer ground having decorative Chinese scenes in gold and silver lacquer. The top section having a moulded cornice above gilded and canted corners and an arrangement of 3 short over 3 long drawers each with chamfered edges and brass handles. The conforming base section again with canted and gilded corners and 3 graduated long drawers, and raised on off set bracket feet. both sides having further Chinoiserie decoration and the whole in excellent condition.
