1920s oak deco double wardrobe

Unique 1920s oak double wardrobe.
With mirrored doors, shelves and hooks inside and the original key and lock.

The shape places this wardrobe in the 1920s Deco Egyptian Revival style, echoing the Egyptian portals at the British Museum.
Balancing the monumental references of the shape are the more playful aspects of the design.
Above the two mirrors are lovely carved panels, bringing an Arts And Crafts feel to the piece.
The pediment is a striking but simple scrolled design.Delivery by arrangement with Karen Robison of Willow.
