1950s still life of painting of spring flowers and staffordshire pottery

By American artist and sculptor Pauline Boumphrey, with to school in Roedean in Sussex.
She exhibited at the RA, Walker Art Gallery, Manchester and
Artistes Francais in Paris.

Boumphrey was commissioned to do the 1942 design for a war memorial to the civilian victims of the Blitz.This midcentury impressionistic oil painting captures a vibrant still life of flowers, showcasing the elegance and charm of purple Delphiniums, pink Carnations, and golden Chrysanthemums.
