    Antique 19th century French pine bureau

    Material: Antique Pine wax finish

    Article number: YAL 2568
    19th century French pine bureau complete with all its desk top drawers/compartments (inc one secret drawer) and four full width drawers. The fold down top provides a good sized work table with lots of storage in the drawers/compartments. All the small drawers/compartments are pine lined and complete with small hardwood pulls. The main drawers are also pine lined with typical French escutcheons for the period. Original steel locks (no keys)

     
    The drawers all run smoothly, are clean inside and the runners and stays (which keep the drawers in the correct alignment) are all present and in good order. This example retains its original pine panelled back. Some very old worm flight holes to the fronts of the drawers. Rustic look and feel.
     
    Presented refurbished to include: stripping back, repairs as appropriate, thorough clean and re finishing
