This is a very large antique ship's wheel. An English, oak and bronze decorative maritime helm, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• High maritime appeal with a strikingly wide diameter
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
• Select oak shows fine grain interest and deep caramel hues
• Further accentuated with an ebonised finish to spokes
  
  
• 8 turned spokes pass through the middle fellow with tapered handles
• The king spoke distinguished with an ebonised finish
• Bronze cappings presents deep golden hues front and rear
• Later ship's emblem to the centre for HMS Talent
• Reassuringly heavy at a substantial weight of 46.5kg (102.5lb)
