6 piece solid silver tea set

A good quality and unusual 6 piece solid silver tea set by Martin Hall & Co. Ltd. of Sheffield and bearing date letter for 1911. The set includes a spirit kettle on stand, tea pot, coffee pot, cream jug, sugar bowl and slop bowl. The hot items with ebony handles and finials and each piece with engraved coat of arms for the Scottish Bell Clan and the Latin Phrase “Signum Pacis Amor” which translates as "love is the token of peace”. The underside engraved with - A.H.B. May 6th. 1913 and GRIBDAE. All in good useable condition. Free U.K. delivery.
