This is a tall antique portico coat stand. An English, heavy cast iron reception hall hat or umbrella rack, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Superb, late Victorian stand, with appealing proportion and Art Nouveau taste
• Displays a desirable aged patina, lightly time worn throughout
• Robust cast iron form, with a substantial weight of 25kg (55.11 lb)

• Arranged as a trio of articulated four-branch coat and stick hooks
• Acanthus form finial stands prominently above the whole, at a height of 6' 2"
• Decorated drip tray base ideal for catching umbrella water
• Unmarked as such, but in the manner of Coalbrookdale
