This neat and very comfortable Beidermeier armchair, circa 1930, is another remarkable piece of furniture in our collection. It was made in walnut wood, and fits perfectly into the set with the presented footstool.
Both the armchair and the footstool have a beautiful, gray-blue, and very dignified upholstery.
Both pieces of furniture are characterized by high workmanship and minimalist design, which have been working both over half a century ago, and in modern times.
The backrest of the armchair has a medallion-like top rail in the wavy shape, which has been connected with a very comfortable seat. The lower section of the seat is characterized by a decorative apron with a woodcarving in the form of impatiens. The armchair is very solid and stable because it has been supported on four supports in a scimitar-like shape.
The footstool is very comfortable, and its frame is also ornamented with the motif of impatiens. Additionally, the motif has been repeated on the upper part of the legs.
Presented suite of furniture perfectly fits into the classic and office interiors. Presented suite will surely enrich any interior with its style and simplicity.
These pieces of furniture, as for its age, are in very good condition. Only slight traces of careful use are visible.
