This is a very attractive Dresden porcelain oval dish, circa 1880-90,

The dish is of lobed form with brad pierced rim. It is painted with a courting couple beside a fountain, The dish is 31cm across. The dish is in very good condition with vivid colouring and no chips or restoration. It has tiny firing fractures to the rim. with some gilt on the rim missing commensurate with use and age but the majority of gilt edging is still in place and the overall presentation of the dish is delightful.Ref 2126
