Circa 1860. A quality French kingwood marquetry and ormolu mounted credenza. The top in book matched crossbanded kingwood, the break fronted D shaped outline with ormolu mounts and marquetry panels above a large pair of doors with marquetry panels framed with ormolu mounts flanked by a pair of serpentine glazed cupboards with walnut shelves, each of the doors framed by curved and crossbanded pilasters. The shaped and curved frieze with several gilded mounts, all resting on shaped feet. The inside of the cupboard has the trade label for ‘T H Filmer’s, London.’
