A Beautiful Mid 20th Century Flame Mahogany Fall Front Fitted Bureau. Made in England during the mid 20th century to a lovely standard. The beautiful fall front cover with moulded edge lifts to reveal a fitted interior of miniature drawers, pigeon holes and a writing surface. The base fitted with two short drawers and three long graduated drawers with beautiful ornate brass swing handles and escutcheons. All raised upon bracket feet. Made to wonderful proportions it will stand proud in any room.

The flame mahogany veneer has a lovely colour and pleasing patina created over the last half century. A wonderful piece of English history that’s overflowing with charm.
Worth buying even just as an investment or store of wealth. As expected with age some minor wear and tear and no escutcheon on the middle drawer.
