We present you another great proposition for a connoisseur: this refined and antique sofa from the early 1860, designed and manufactured in the Biedermeier style. “Warm” and bent lines of the framework are characteristic of the style. The whole has been made in striking mahogany wood, in Scandinavia. To continue, the sofa’s backrest in triply rounded, and smoothly turns into armrests, and those into bent legs. Everything creates a consistent and highly charming whole.
The central part of the backrest has been decorated with a chiseled crest in the form of floral ornaments. The upholstery has been replaced with a new, ideally matching the style in golden-red stripes.
Furthermore, the whole has been supported on four scroll legs with delicate cutters.
The sofa will become a splendid decoration not only of living rooms, but also offices.
This piece of furniture, as for its age, is in very good condition. Only slight traces of careful use are visible. We hope that the value of this furniture will be appreciated by many customers.
