Hieratism and simplicity -- these are distinctive features of this Eclectic armchair circa 1930. The furniture has been made in noble mahogany wood, and comes from Northern Europe.
Presented armchair is monumental and extremely comfortable, thanks to its high backrest. The central part of the backrest has been upholstered with a new fabric in claret color, and complemented with a beautiful, red thread, which gives the whole a very dignified character. The broad, spring seat has also been upholstered with a new upholstery, covering
the apron.
The arm rails, which end with carved figures in the shape of goose heads, have been finished in a very detailed way. The armrests have cushions over their whole length.
Presented armchair is placed on four very interesting legs: the rear are straight, and the two frontal are in the form of baluster stands that are finished with golden fittings.
Because of this special mixture of simplicity and elegance that this piece of furniture represents, it deserves all the extra attention.
This piece of furniture, as for its age, is in very good condition. Only slight traces of careful use are visible.
We hope that the value of this furniture will be appreciated by many customers.
