Circa 1860. A Victorian ormolu mounted burr walnut, satinwood, and kingwood credenza. The ogee mould on the top is veneered in burr walnut. At both ends there are two glazed doors with curved glass, walnut and inlaid shelves inside. The credenza has four full sized columns, with ormolu mounts. The centre door has string inlay satinwood, and kingwood banding. The main panel is framed with an ormolu mount. At the base of the three doors, there is an ormolus mount that runs around the entire credenza. The piece stands on an enclosed plinth with raised bun feet beneath it.
