Circa 1960s. A light coloured mahogany Cockpen or’ Dalhousie’ chair by’ Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh’. The curved and shaped cresting rail with a classic lattice back, two curved arms supported on shaped uprights with the arms being held in place by peg joints. The curved saddle shaped seat, recently re-covered, the simple curved seat rail with peg joints visible on the facings, back legs are turned and front legs in the form of a cluster, are out swept and braced by multiple circular stretchers.
