    A charming pair of 19th century miniature gaudy welsh lustre jugs, measuring 2.5ins(6.5cms) high with simple looped strap handles.

     
    They are an identical pair, save for variations commensuarte with hand decoration, and have underglaze blue leaf sparays to the centre of each side with a lustre finish to which is added enamelled blooms and foliage, in iron red and green, with a purple lustre stripe down the back of the handles.
     
    They are a clean pair although they carry some signs of their age with one having nibbles around the spout and the other having a minute crack near the spout and a crack to the base of the handle, although the handle is still attached and intact.
