A wonderful 19th century pair of signed Elizabeth Chester still life paintings in glazed gilt frames. They are identically framed and glazed and measure 18ins (46cms) x 14ins (36cms) to the outside of the frame, are strung and ready to hang.

The two pictures are of still life subjects, including flowers, fruit and a birds nest with eggs. one being signed at bottom left and the other at bottom right, with E Chester, being Elizabeth Chester, a known late 19th century English artist. They are painted in oil on board.The pictures are very nicely done and balance well. they are framed in gilt coloured mounts and have moulded ans swept frames. Both the pictures and their frames are in good condition and they would grace any wall they were hung on.
