    Antique ANTIQUE REGENCY MAHOGANY THREE CHAIR BACK SOFA C1820 W7276/21.1

    Antique Regency Mahogany Three Chair Back Sofa and dating from aorund 1820. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a three bar top rail with gadrroned pedament to the centre and above a central carved back splat with carved shell to the centre and with reeded side supports and downswept shaped armrests on ring turned supports and standing on ring turned legs to the front and sabre legs to the back. It has a stuff over horsehair seat recovered in a quality watered silk striped fabric totally in keeping with the period.

     
    A superb chair back sofa with lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany in very good condition oozing all the charm and character of the period.
