    An impressively framed and attractive Victorian rural landscape oil painting, which measures )81cms) x 25 (64cms) to the outdside edges of the frame.

     
    It is a well executed work of a cottage before some mountains or fells, amidst a rural setting with a river to the fore. It is done in oil, on canvas, and double mounted in a very nicely cast and ornate, gilded frame. It is signed at bottom right, J. Edgar, is strung and ready to hang.
     
    It is in pretty good condition althogh there have been a couple of repairs in the past,( patched from the back,- please see ohoto) and there ar two small and not very noticeable holes to the main body of the piece. Again, please check out the photos andd if you would like more detailled pictures, please do not hesitate to ask!
