    Antique Antique 17th Century Carved Oak Dresser Base Sideboard W6994/18.6

    Antique George 111 Carved Oak Dresser Base or Sideboard and dating from around 1780. It has a plank top with moulded edge above a slight inverted centre with three graduating drawers all of which are pine lined with brass handles and with banded edges to the carved fronts. To each end is a carved panelled door with central carved lozenge and with brass escutcheon and working key and both with internal shelf. It has a carved panel to each side and is moulded to the base standing on bracket feet.
    Measures: 33" high x 23" deep x 73" wide

     
    In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing all the charm and character of the Georgian period.
