This is an antique 3-draw telescope. An English, leather and brass terrestrial refractor by Broadhurst, Clarkson & Co, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

Perfect for bird watching, landscape appreciation, wildlife, or maritime observation. Equally suitable for observing the night sky

• Dressed for the field and of usefully compact form
• Displays a desirable aged patina throughout
• Quality brass shows delightful golden hues and lightly time worn
• Primary barrel dressed in stitched leather, tanned to alight brown
  
  
• Of 3-draw type, drawing from a usefully compact length of 27cm (10.75'')
• Fully drawn, extending to a length of 75cm (29.5'')
• Primary objective lens with a generous diameter of 60mm (2.25")
• Scratch to front element no hindrance to the viewing experience
  
  
• Engraved to the final barrel for Broadhurst, Clarkson & Co of London
• Leather dust cup with accessory carry strap for safe keeping
• Supplied with a London Fine oak and brass Captains Stand for display

This is a charming antique telescope, of useful drawn proportion and graced with appealing polished brightwork. As good to use today as it was over a hundred years ago. Delivered ready for use or display.
