This is an antique Buddhist Avalokiteshvara figure. An Asian, bronze religious deity, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Delightful rendition of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, also known as Guanyin in Chinese
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
• Weathered bronze presents rich orange hues and deep tonality
• The Avalokiteshvara presents the four icons associated with the sitting deity
• On display, the crystal rosary, the utpala flower, the five-jewelled crown and the wish fulfilling jewel
• Substantial weight in the hand at 5.15 kg (11.35 lb)
