This is an antique butler's silver carry tray. An English, mahogany newspaper rack or work box, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1850.

• Attractive carry with a pair of generous compartments
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order

• Wonderful exposed dovetail joints a testament to the quality craftsmanship
• Central divider with inset butler's grasp, a pair of turned handles to either end
