A good late 19th. Century camphor wood campaign travelling trunk with protective brass straps, corners and escutcheon plates. The lid is lifted by a sunken brass handle and the void interior offers a large storage area. To each end are metal carrying handles and this trunk benefits from dovetailed joints and working lock with key. Ideal size to be used as a coffee table.
