This is an antique carriage stool. An English, flame mahogany and tweed upholstered raised fireside rest, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1780.

• Support weary legs in tasteful style with this appealing Georgian rest
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in very good order
• Select flame stocks present fine grain interest and warm caramel hues
• Professionally reupholstered with quality fabric redolent of Harris Tweed
• Set at an angle, the wide cushion traditionally stuffed for comfort
• Raised upon a set of ogee bracket feet with sash aprons to centre
