This is an antique cellarette. An English, mahogany and brass fireside store, dating to the Georgian period, circa 1750. 

• Fascinating hexagonal form with delightful figuring
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select stocks present fine grain interest and rich russet hues
• Brass cappings show delightful golden hues throughout

• Dressed with circular brass drop handles to the sides and lid
• Useful as a fireside store, being suitable for all fuel types
• Could also be useful as a distinctive lamp table
