This is an antique chest of drawers. An English, mahogany storage piece with cot drawer in Neoclassical taste, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1860.

• Fine-quality storage chest, with superb Neoclassical taste and craftsmanship
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
• Select stocks present fine grain interest throughout

• Arranged as three wide drawers, graduated in height
• Distinctive lower 'cot' drawer offering 13' of internal storage height
• The drawer size being perfect for a new-born baby in the Victorian period
  
  
• Each dressed with oval drop handles on decorated backplates
• Circular lock escutcheons to each — untested, keys absent
• Upper drawer engraved to the base with the initials R.T
• The whole riding smoothly upon castors, inset to broad bun feet
