This is an antique crystoleum picture. An English, framed glass mezzotint painting after Hermann Koch, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1895.

• Superb mezzotint upon glass, with a striking rendition of the original 'The Caller'
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
• Ornate giltwood frame with pierced scroll decoration and corn sheaf border in relief
• Signature of the original artist in the lower left corner for Hermann Koch (1856 - 1939)
• Below, the copyright mark dated 1894, by the Franz Hanfstaengl company
• Dressed to the rear with hanging wire, for ease of mounting
