This is an antique decorative fire back. An English, cast iron hearth panel, dating to the mid Victorian period, circa 1850.

• Charmingly decorative relief, ideal for adding interest to a traditional fireplace
• Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order
• Slender cast iron form with excellent relief casting
• Presents a good, consistent graphite finish throughout
• Set within a foliate border, two musicians play their trumpet and marching drums
