This is an antique decorative stem vase. A Japanese, bronze Meiji era baluster urn, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.

• Traditional baluster form with superb relief bird detail
• Displaying a desirable aged patina with minimal weathering
• Bronze shows fine tonality with a deep chestnut colouration
• Decorative relief birds sit prominently around the body
• Dressed to the base with a leather protective pad
