antique desk by maple & co. aesthetic movement 1880c

Here we have a fantastic Arts and Crafts Oak desk by a super maker in Maple and Co c1880. As you can see the desk has super colour and patina. There are two double drawer pedestals to the the top with a central gallery rail with beautiful turned pillars. The drawers retain their original handles and have handcut dovetailed joints and full Mahogany linings. There is a a pen tray and inkwell compartment at the rear. There is a stunning green leather insert.

The desk top has a moulded edge and below there are nine drawers with original handles and beautiful reeded fronts. The desk sits on original turned legs and casters. A stunning period desk in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 48 inches wide 24.5 deep and 30.5 high.
