This is an antique floral encrusted ewer. An Italian, ceramic decorative pouring jug, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920.

• Striking Italian ewer with prominent foliate decorations
• Displays a desirable aged patina and good original order
• Tall ceramic form enthusiastically decorated throughout
• Displays a light cream wash, accentuating the relief finish

• Colourful flowerheads sit prominently from the bulbous body
• Distinctive bird head spout with excellent feather detail, flowing into the base
• Serpentine tall handle with double reverse scroll form
