This is an antique folding lamp table. An Anglo-Indian occasional or side table, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

• Ornately pierced fretwork with a distinctive octagonal folding form
• Displays a desirable aged patina in very good order
• Teak stocks presenting deep chestnut and caramel hues
• Lift-off top with folding legs for ease of stowage, in the campaign manner

• Enthusiastically carved to all surfaces, offering a treat of visual detail
• The top sets a flowerhead medallion to centre within a quarterfoil
• Eight striking fretwork panels host foliate scenes
• Chased leaves decorate each fascia across the octagon of legs

This is a captivating antique folding lamp table, a wonderful example of colonial campaign furniture. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
