Antique French Travel Microscope
Not marked apart from the word Depose, French for patent. This would mean the microscope is a French make. That was retailed in Ireland, as inside of the box is an old stamp for Spencer & Sons Opticians 23 Nassau Street Dublin. Bottom of the wooded box also has a hand written name & address. Henry A Coburn, Grove House, Grove Park Rathmines, Co Dublin. This 19th Century Microscope is 15.7cm high, to 19cm high, & 6.4 at the base. The microscope itself looks to be in very good condition, has some scores/marks to the paintwork. A very nice microscope & case for the collector.
