Top and bottom both circa 1780 (associated), George III mahogany bureau bookcase. Surmounted by a dentil cornice and the frieze with geometric blind fretwork. The 2 astragal glazed doors with ormolu escutcheons opening to an interior with adjustable shelves. The bureau with a cleated flap, opening to an interior with pigeonholes, nest of drawers and baize writing surface. This is over 4 graduated cock beaded drawers with back to front oak liners, original steel locks, ormolu escutcheons and original ornate ormolu swan neck handles. All over a moulded base and shaped bracket feet.
