Antique Georgian Square Draw Leaf Mahogany Table.This is a wonderful example of Georgian furniture that has a modern day use beyond it’s beautiful looks.
The size of the table is 91x91 cm which is perfect family size but can be extended to 171 cm that accommodates guests. Sits on tapered legs with Brass castors that are a little rigid.Two lockable draws at either end with key. one with writing board and secret draw compartment. One handle missing.
The table top is a later edition that shows signs of use as does the whole piece which is commensurate with age.
Several scuffs, scratches and cracks but this does not effect the use or overall aesthetic.Circa 1800.
