A good quality and profusely inlaid rosewood pedestal desk,English c.1905.Made in the Edwardian era,the fine marquetry inlay to the front of the desk is executed in box wood and is complemented by box wood string inlay to the sides and around the edge of the writing surface.The brass knob handles with conforming backplates are original,and the drawers are lined in polished mahogany.
