This is an antique low profile Canterbury. An English, mahogany 4 division newspaper or magazine stand, dating to the Regency period, circa 1820.

• Delightful concave form and rich colour accentuate this Regency example
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
• Select stocks present fine grain interest and warm caramel hues
• Of useful conservatory proportion, each division of generous form for folded newspapers

• Graceful visual effect with slender pillars supporting the upper rails
