This is an antique master specimen chest on stand. An English, satinwood document archive or collector's cabinet, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

• Dashing satinwood presents incredible figuring and light caramel hues
• Deep moulded fascia panels add to the distinctive appearance

• Shallow sarcophagus top with a fall-front fascia aids access to the set of six graduated drawers
• Front panel dressed with an inset brass lined lock — key absent
• With oak drawers boxes, each is dressed with quality brass recessed cup handles
• Five drawers with an internal height of 3.5cm (1.5") with the final drawer set at 6cm (2.25")
• Raised upon a quartet of serpentine cabriole legs and united with a H-stretcher
