Superb Matched Pair of Miniature Watercolor Paintings on Paper depicting Half Length Portraits of Two Ladies. Complete with their original Birdseye Maple Frames of English origin. Second quarter of the Nineteenth Century.

Each Portrait Lady is wearing a black dress with hair tied back. Condition: Good condition, some light foxing (age spots) on both. Small tear on one (top right-hand corner). Small loss to frame on one corner, both pictures are glazed. No signature visible. Both backs have been re-lined, nicely done, see images. Measurements of larger picture: Height: (entire including frame) 8.5” (21.75m). Width: (entire including frame) 7.5” (19cm). Depth of frame: 1.25” (3cm). Location: Dublin City, Ireland.
