This is an antique naval architect's desk tidy. An English, mahogany organiser case, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870.

• Of superb proportion at just under 3' long - a spectacle upon the grandest of desks
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
• Select stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
• Chamfered lid opens upon brass hinges, with a brass handle to the fascia
• Opening to reveal the arrangement of two storage compartments
