This is a large antique octagonal centre table. A Scottish, carved oak Gothic Revival display table, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.

• Exceptional Scottish craftsmanship with distinct carvings to each side
• Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
• Quality Scottish oak presents fine grain interest and warm caramel hues
• Arranged as a comfortable four seat table, with a kneehole height of 63.5cm (25'')
  
  
• Well proportioned octagonal top with quartered inlay motif to centre
• Each of the eight edges presents individual carvings in the Gothic manner
• Deep apron with moulded edge sits above the quartet of stout circular legs
• Fascinating central quarterfoil unites each of the stretcher rails

This is a striking antique octagonal centre table, delightfully presented with carved detail to each of its eight sides. A prominent centrepiece to any room, with a bold example of Gothic revival taste. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
