This is an antique octagonal table. An English, mahogany and marble occasional or centre table in Gothic taste, dating to the early Victorian period, circa 1840.
- Fascinating octagonal form, with appealing Gothic overtones
- Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
- Select stocks present fine grain interest and rich caramel hues
- Superb white marble plinth with a cool, tactile finish
- Deep apron hosts turned pendant finials to each side
- Stout, twist gadrooned support column with bulb and petal detail
- Standing upon a quartet of distinctive scrolled feet
This is a delightful antique octagonal table, with an attractive appearance influenced by Gothic motif. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home.
