Stunning Pair French Sevres Soft Paste Hand Decorated Jeweled Porcelain and Ormolu Table or Mantle Urns with unusual decorative suspending husk gilt-bronze handles of traditional form and of outstanding quality, made during the last half of the Nineteenth Century.

Each celeste blue ground porcelain urn of ovoid outline exquisitely hand decorated with a band of scrolling detail on gilt ground and a central oval framed portrait of an affluent lady, above a ringed lower socle ending on a circular spreading gilt base, raised on four pad supports. Condition: Good condition for such early pieces with no losses to porcelain, gliding on bronze mounts is a little worn at high points. Height: (entire as shown on image one) 13.25" (33.5cm).
