A Very Fine Pair of French Patinated Bronze & Well Grained Burl Walnut Grand Tour Style Twin Handle Tazza of medium proportions. First quarter of the Twentieth Century. Each circular bowl with lobed reeded body and decorative moulded thumb detail rims and twin bronze handles, raised on square block of polished Burr Walnut wood and stepped patinated bronze plinth above a gilt base raised on four decorative feet. Condition: These pieces have been professionally cleaned, original patinated bronze with no wear at high points, some staining on both gilt metal bases. Back and front views are alike Height: 9.25" (23.5cm). Width: (including handles) 7.5" (19cm). Width: (at base) 4.5" (11.5cm). Depth: (at base) 4.5" (11.5cm).
