    This is an antique pedestal desk. An English, blonde oak and leather nine drawer clerk's desk, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910. 

    • Fine Edwardian example with a delightful presentation and quality craftsmanship
    • Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order throughout
    • Warm biscuit hues to the quality oak stocks, with fine grain interest
    • Further distinguished with an abundance of medullary rays

    • Arrangement of nine drawers, with two banks of four around a wide, central drawer
    • Top inset with a dashing, saffron tanned leather skiver, accentuated with gold tooling
    • Each drawer dressed with an inset, brass lined lock — 4 keys present, including the central drawer
    • Circular decorative pulls with foliate backplates adorn each drawer

    • Each drawer box line with quality mahogany stocks, with deep fascia and dovetail joints
    • Desk finished to the rear, offering central room placement if required
    • Pedestal form offers a comfortable kneehole height of 58.5cm (23'')
    • Each pedestal stands upon a continuous plinth foot

    This is an attractive antique pedestal desk, graced with wonderful colour and fine figuring throughout. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home office.
